Bring your questions! This class will be mainly outside, so please dress for the weather.
When: 1-3pm Saturday April 27
Location: 4446 NE Going St. Portland. Frequent service on Trimet #75, easily accessible by bike. Off-street bike parking available.

Cost: $25 – work-trade available, but must be approved by the Wednesday before the class. Call to discuss. About the instructors and the site:
Rachel Freifelder grew up with her father’s organic garden, holds a degree in ecology from Stanford University, and studied herbs at the Pacific School of Botanical Medicine. She has worked on several farms, has taught gardening to all ages since 1996, and offers garden services as Handmade Gardens Edible and Native Organic Land Care. In 1998 Rachel was certified as a Master Composter by Alameda County, CA.
Robert Burchett hails from rural Missouri, where he learned to garden from his father and on his grandparents’ farm. His understanding of soils and plant nutrition was improved by graduate work at the University of Missouri School of Forestry. He has 20 years of experience working with Portland’s soils and climate. Composting is his passion and the worms are his pets.
